Butler Community Centre is hosting beginners Pickleball. An indoors racket sport, it's a cross between tennis and badminton but slower. It’s the fastest growing sport in over 65’s. For further information call 051 876907.

To mark World Inflammatory Bowel Disease Day, Crohn’s and Colitis Ireland is hosting a major national conference for people with the disease. Featuring talks on relationships, as well as eating well with IBD, the in-person event will take place on the afternoon of Sunday, May 19. It will also be live streamed. A special gathering will take place on Wednesday, May 8, at St. Paul’s Parish Hall, Lisduggan. This event is dedicated to honoring and remembering those lost due to substance use and related causes. This heartfelt occasion is a joint effort by the South East Regional Family Support Network and St. Paul’s Parish. The event will celebrate the lives of those departed, featuring music and reflection, followed by light refreshments. All are warmly invited to this space of remembrance and support.
