The death has sadly occurred on Friday, April 3, of Margaret (Maggie) Barr, late of Airfield Point, Dunmore East, Co. Waterford.
Predeceased by her beloved parents, Joan and Thomas Barr. She is survived by her loving son, Patrick (Paddy), cherished mother-in-law to Christina and devoted grandmother to Matilda.
Maggie's brothers Jim and Tommy, sisters-in-law Alison and Martina, her nieces and nephew, extended family, neighbours, and her many friends, both near and far.
Margaret will be sadly missed by all her relatives, extended family and wide circle of friends.
The funeral took place in Christ Church Cathedral, Cathedral Square, Waterford, on Thursday, April 9, at 11am, followed by private cremation.
Condolences are extended to Margaret's family, relatives and friends.

The death has sadly occurred on Wednesday, April 8, of Mr Derek Coade, Grantstown Village, Waterford. Predeceased by his loving grandparents, Jack, Maureen, Jimmy and Nancy.
He is survived by his loving parents Cormac and Esther, sister Laura, brother-in-law Owen, niece Myla, nephew Danny, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Derek will be sadly missed by all his relatives, extended family, neighbours and friends. Requiem Mass took place in St. Mary’s Church, Ballygunner, on Saturday, April 11, at 12pm, followed by private cremation at a later date.
Condolences are extended to Derek's family, relatives and friends.

The Society of St Vincent de Paul (SVP) is recruiting volunteers in Waterford to support its home visitation work – offering much-needed support, a listening ear, and practical help to people facing difficult times.
Through SVP’s local conferences, volunteers meet individuals and families in their homes, help them explore options, offer practical support, and signpost them to additional services.
A typical commitment is just a couple of hours a week, with Induction Training, Garda Vetting & guidance from experienced members.

Waterford Male Voice Choir will celebrate its 25th Anniversary by hosting an Anniversary Charity Concert in aid of the Little Sisters of the Poor, Waterford, on Friday, May 15, in the SETU Chapel, College Street, Waterford, commencing at 7.30pm.
Guest performers on the night will be the Barrack Street Concert Band and De La Salle Senior Choir, together with soloist Stephanie Ní Fhoghlú.
Tickets cost €20 can be purchased from choir members and the Little Sisters of the Poor and include Anniversary Prize Draw entry.
Limited tickets available at the door on the night (cash only).
100% of the proceeds will go directly to the charity.
A Memorial Concert in the memory of Carmel Nairn will be held in Christ Church Cathedral on Saturday, May 16, starting at 7pm, in aid of two Waterford charities that were close to Carmel's Heart, The Waterford and South Kilkenny Branch of Down Syndrome Ireland and the Waterford Viking Branch of the Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind.
There will be 11 acts in total performing, comprising of choirs, soloists , Brass Band, to name but a few.
