Just two weeks to go until the Irish Wheelchair Association Tractor Run, that takes place at the GAA Centre in Stradbally on Sunday, September 22. The organising committee has received some lovely raffle prizes for the event. Registration will be at 11am for a 12noon start. Refreshments will be served afterwards and of course the raffle. Vintage cars and motorbikes are also welcome to participate. Do come out and support this worthy cause.
Results: Stradbally U11C 7-0 Carrick; Stradbally U16 1 - 1 Dungarvan ( first game of the season). The U.16's were presented with their new home kit for the season ahead, kindly sponsored by E Project Chartered Architects, Dungarvan (058 48784). Congratulations to all teams and management and well done.
It was a busy outdoor market on Saturday last, with a county final being played at the GAA grounds. There were lots of extra shoppers in the Square. The producers had plenty fresh produce to choose from with oven fresh bread, scones, tarts, and fancy buns, jams and relish.
