Local Notes: Lotto luck and fundraising initiatives in Stradbally

Stradbally's final 50-50 Draw takes place in a fortnight. The club moves to the lotto from August 4.

Stradbally Lotto

As indicated over recent months, the club is in the process of updating its fundraising efforts to support ongoing developments. The club 50/50 will be discontinued from mid-August and be replaced by a club lotto. The lotto will start with an initial prize of €1,000 and increase incrementally each week if not won. The 50/50 draw will continue as normal until then. Lotto Draw will be live on the Stradbally GAA Facebook page every Sunday night. Tickets will be €5 each week, and a direct debit facility will be available. Members and supporters can arrange to register by scanning a linked QR code. Posters and flyers with the QR code will be available locally. There will be an information night in the social centre in late July/early August to assist with the process of signing up. Further updates and more details in the coming weeks.

Condolences

Stradbally GAA/LGFA offers its sincere sympathy to Eileen Campbell on the death of her mother Cáit Walsh, Kilnafleragh East, Dungarvan, who died on Friday, June 20, and was buried in Kilgobinet. Eileen has been an integral part of the Stradbally club for many years, and Joe is part of our minor panel. We offer our sympathy to them. May Cáit rest in peace.

50/50 Draw

Congratulations to Sean Costelloe, who won €210 in a recent 50/50 draw. This was the penultimate draw as the club moves to the lotto on August 4. The final 50/50 draw will take place in two weeks. For old time's sake, make an effort to buy a 50/50 for the final draw.
