The death sadly occurred on Thursday, October 17, of Mr Thomas (Tommy) Wall, Beechwood Avenue, Waterford. Formerly of Sexton Street and late of Waterford Crystal, he was predeceased by his loving wife Nancy, son Mark and parents Mark and Christina. He is survived by his loving daughters Carole and Emer, son Michael, daughter-in-law Addie, grandchildren David, Barry, Neill, Kym and Sarah, his good friend Maria, sisters Helen (Long) and Teresa (Hearne), nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives, neighbours and his wide circle of friends. Thomas will be sadly missed by all his family, relatives, neighbours and his wide circle of friends. Requiem Mass took place on Tuesday, October 22, in the Sacred Heart Church, The Folly at 1pm followed by burial in Slieverue Cemetery, Co Kilkenny. Condolences are extended to Thomas' family, relatives and friends. May he rest in peace.

The Divine Mercy Prayer Group gathers at Sacred Heart Church, The Folly, every Friday from 3pm to 3.45pm. Mass will be celebrated by Fr Gerard Chestnutt on the first Friday of each month at 3pm. All are welcome.
The Children’s Liturgy group continues each Sunday morning at the 11.30am Mass. Children of primary school age are encouraged, under the guidance of the children’s liturgy team of adults, to join in the parish centre to reflect on the scripture readings of the day.
Do you fancy participating in dancercise classes to upbeat music while learning different styles of dance to hits from the 70’s 80’s, 90’s and 00’s. No dance partner needed, but I advise to bring some friends along. Suitable for all levels, the classes will begin on November 12. The sessions are open to pre-school, Junior and Senior Infants pupils for fun and games in a safe and secure environment with qualified and vetted coaches. No equipment needed. Singing classes take place in Butler Community Centre, every Friday from 10am to 110am. Suitable for all ages, beginners are welcome and the classes include breathing exercises, vocal training and sing songs that you love. The classes are given by a qualified music teacher, registered with the Teaching Council of Ireland. The cost will be €10 per class. Waterford Sports Partnership have teamed up with IWA-Sport to bring a fantastic Multi-Activity Programme to children aged 5 to 15 with a physical disability.
