Congratulations to Stradbally's Team 1 B on their impressive win against Waterford Crystal at home on Saturday evening, on a scoreline of 8-1. A great start to the new season, three wins from three. Well done to team and management.
Once again the market was back on the Square in sunshine last Saturday. The only negative aspect was the last of the summer's wasps also decided to pay a visit around the possibility of a sugar high. The stalls were piled high with fruit veg, home baking, jams, relish, juices, cards and prints. Ken was there with the GAA 50 - 50 draw, and the Saturday Circle of Friends were enjoying tea and scones and chat at the Cove Bar. You can preorder any of the above by calling Margaret on 087 6337215. The market will be back at 10am next Saturday, outside if its fine and in the Cove Bar if it's not.
