The death has sadly occurred on Saturday, November 22, 2025, of Mr John McGrath, Collins Avenue, Dunmore Road, Waterford.
Predeceased by his loving parents, brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his loving wife Margaret, son Stephen, daughter-in-law Louise, granddaughter Kelly and husband Jonny, great granddaughter Orla-Daisy, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.
John will be sadly missed by all his relatives, extended family, neighbours and friends. Requiem Mass took place in St. Mary’s Ballygunner, on Tuesday, November 25, at 11:30am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
Condolences are extended to John's family, relatives and friends. May he rest in peace.
The death has sadly occurred on Friday, November 21, 2025, of Mr John Warren Ballygunnermore, Waterford, formerly of St. Ursula's Terrace and late of Waterford Crystal.
Predeceased by his beloved wife Biddy, son Niall, brother and sisters.
He is survived by his loving family, John, Paul, Caroline, David and Ruth, sister Anne and Kay, grandchildren Shauna, Warren and Aoife, daughters-in-law Lorraine and Catriona, sons-in-law Tony and Steven, sister-in-law Bernie, brothers-in-law Frank and Tony, extended family, neighbours and many friends.
John will be sadly missed by all his relatives, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Requiem Mass took place in at 2pm. St. Mary’s Church, Ballygunner, on Monday, November 24.
Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The death has sadly occurred on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, of Mrs Breda McDonald Née Rowe, Knockboy Village, Ballygunner, Waterford.
Predeceased by her loving parents, Lar and Biddy.
She is survived by her loving daughters Elizabeth, Laureena (Atkins) and Breeda (Moloney), Breda's partner Michael, sons-in-law Ian, Alan and Martin, grandchildren Calvin, Martha, Peadar, Jayden, Ellie and Hailey, brothers Larry and Michael, sisters Mary (Weafer), Rita (Morrissey) and Stastia (Harrington), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Breda will be sadly missed by all her relatives, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Requiem Mass took place in St. James Church, Horeswood, on Thursday, November 27, at 12pm, after which Breda was laid to rest in Horeswood cemetery.
Condolences are extended to Breda’s family, relatives and friends.
May she rest in peace.
The death has sadly occurred on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, of Mr Anthony (Tony) Russell Collins Avenue, Waterford City, Waterford, former Principal of St. Paul's Community College.
Predeceased by his loving parents, his sister and his brothers.
He is survived by his loving wife Mary and loving father of Catherine, Antoin, Dominic and Robert.
Will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Eoin, Conor, Erica and Isabel, son-in-law Colm, daughter-in-law Tammie, Roberts' partner Susan and Michelle, his nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Requiem Mass took place on Friday, November 28 in St. Joseph's Home Chapel, Abbey Road, Ferrybank, Waterford at 10:30am. Private cremation to follow.

Your kindness and generosity enabled us to gift 35 Christmas bags last year.

Children’s Liturgy Group is recruiting new leaders to support our present team.
What is the Children’s Liturgy Mass?
It is making the Word of God more accessible to children in an age appropriate Mass, allowing them to participate more fully in Mass.
Suitable for children of preschool & primary school age.
Why do we need leaders?
To keep the Children’s Liturgy Mass running weekly, we cannot do this without the help of new leaders.
When is Children’s Liturgy Mass?
Sunday 10am Mass at St. Benildus & St Joseph’s.
Who are the present leaders?
We consist of parents/guardians/grandparents and are fully vetted by the parish.
If you are interested in keeping the Children’s Mass up and running to support families attending Mass with young children, please contact the parish office for further information or speak to any of the leaders after Mass.
Coffee Morning Every Wednesday morning immediately after 10.30 am Mass at St. Joseph & Benildus Church.
Everyone is welcome to attend. No booking required, just show up.

Christmas in St John's on Wednesday, December 10 at 7:30pm featuring St. John's Parish Choir, St. Declan’s NS Choir, Waterpark NS Choir, Edmond Rice Choral Society and Sacred Heart Simply Singing Group, along with Special Guests The Barrack Street Band.
A collection in aid of the Order of Malta Ireland Ambulance Corps Waterford Unit will be made after the concert.
