Choir News

The joint Butlerstown/St Paul's Choir who sing at 10am morning Mass are seeking new members, singers and musicians. Please contact the St Paul's Parish Office or any member of the choir after Mass.

Pastoral Council

Butlerstown Parish Pastoral Council will meet at 7pm in Fr Rufus Halley Centre on Tuesday, October 8. "God offers himself in total love to each one of us. Our part is to open our hearts to receive the gift." (Ruth Burrows)

Sympathy

Deepest sympathy to the O’Neill family on the death of a much loved mother Margaret O’Neill (nee: Power), Larchville, who died on Tuesday, October 1. Her remains lay in repose at Tom Hennessy’s Funeral Home on Friday, October 4. Requiem mass was on Saturday, October 5, in St Paul's Church, Lisduggan followed by burial in St Mary’s Cemetery, Ballygunner. Predeceased by her son Owen, she will be sadly missed by her daughters Una, Caroline and Margaret, her sisters Marie, Helen and Terry, brothers Nicky, Paul, Jim, Joe, Tony and Liam, son-in-law Sean, her six grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces extended family neighbours and friends. May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Mass Times

Mass takes place at 10am on Thursdays and Sunday at 10am, in Butlerstown Church. Mass in St Paul's Church is celebrated on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday at 10am. Saturday Vigil Mass is celebrated at 6pm and on Sunday Mass is at 8.30am and 11.30am.

Folk Group

Folk Group St Paul's Folk Group. The folk group and the Butlerstown Choir practice in the on Wednesdays Church at 7.30pm. Please feel free to come along.

My VIBE

The Millennium Youth Project creative hub is for young people in the Lisduggan/Larchville, Manor St John and the surrounding areas. This includes activities to support young people’s mental health. Places are limited and  if interested please contact Roseanne or Ciara for more information or to answer any questions you might have on 086 6093140.

Cookery Classes

Cookery classes continue each Wednesday in the Millennium Building for children aged 11 to 12 years, from 3pm to 5pm. Contact 086 6093140 for more information.

Traus Scriptures Summer School

The Traus Scriptures Summer School continues in St Joseph and Benildus Church with Praying the Psalms lectures on Tuesday, October 15 and 19, and November 12, from 7.30pm to 9pm. To book your place contact the parish office on 051 348007.
