What a welcome home Kelyn Cassidy got from all his friends and neighbours in Priory Lawn, Ballybeg, and the surrounding areas during the week when he returned home from the boxing championships.
Kelyn was very unlucky, only missing out on a place in the upcoming Olympics in his third boxing bout. Onwards and upwards Kelyn we are all so proud of you, you are a brilliant sportsman, a fine young gentleman and an example to all the young boys and girls in our area of what they can achieve.
Congratulations to Don and Collette Woulfe, Ballivor, Co Meath who celebrated their 28th wedding anniversary recently. Best wishes for many more years of wedded bliss come to them from Betty Dower and all the family Priory Lawn.
Lovely to see the Residents Association and residents planting flowers at the entrance to the estate. It makes the area look welcoming. Well done to all.

Great to see work being done. Isn’t it great to see progress been made on the old Glass factory site. It was very sad to see this site laying derelict over the years. When this project is finished it will enhance the area. Hopefully the powers to be will make it safe for everyone with the proper traffic management when everything is finished.
Southend United have a nursery for boys and girls who would like to play soccer every Saturday for ages 5 years to 9 years from 2.30pm to 3.30pm. The cost is €2 and everyone is welcome.
St Saviour's GAA Little saints meet every Saturday morning from 11am to 12pm for boys and girls aged 5 to 8 years. Boys and girls from Ballybeg and the surrounding areas are more than welcome. Hurleys and helmets are supplied.
Parish mass time for St Paul's are weekdays, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday at 10am, Saturday Vigil Mass at 6pm and Sunday mass at 8.30am and 11.30am.
Mass in Butlerstown is celebrated on Friday at 10am and Sunday, at 10am. Contact the Parish Office on 051 357730, open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 9.15am to 12.45pm.
Blessing of Graves at St Mary's, Ballygunner will take place on Thursday, June 20, at 7.30pm. When parking please do not obstruct the entrances to private properties.
St Saviours Parish Shop is open Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 12pm. Mass times are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 10am and Sunday at 8.30am, 11am and 5.30pm.
