Historic photo gives insight to Waterford's past

A window to the past in Waterford was unearthed through a photograph sent to Waterford News & Star and waterford-news.ie by the Stradbally Photographic Archive.
The photo, which dates from the 1960s, show Seamus Gallagher and his father, Jim Gallagher.
According to a spokesperson for the Archive, Jim Gallagher was a Garda in Stradbally between 1945 and 1963.
Commenting on the photo the spokesperson said: "We are grateful to Seamus for sharing this photo with us."
