Schools across Waterford welcomed pupils through the doors in recent days and for many children it was their first time entering 'big school' as they took their place in junior infants classes across the Deise.
Waterford News & Star photographer, Joe Evans was there to capture images of those in attendance and photos are also contained in a lovely pull-out supplement in the current print edition of the newspaper.
