Tramore Summer Sessions return on Saturday, July 26, at the Sands Hotel Car Park.

Songwriters In The Round, July 12, Theatre Royal

This intimate and unique style of gig originated in Nashville at the Bluebird Cafe, where it has now become a hallmark tradition.

The classic style of songwriters ‘in the round’ usually features three to five songwriters, taking turns singing their own original material and sharing the stories behind their songs.

‘In the Round’ gigs are typically cosy, informal and conversational, where artists will get personal, have fun on stage and let you in on some beloved stories and tales from their lives.

The upcoming Theatre Royal production will feature Megan O’Neill, who has travelled the globe with her original music throughout the past decade.

Grainne Hunt will also feature, who has shared stages with Glen Hansard and U2, and has opened for Gladys Knight. Lastly, Emma Langford, who creates work that playfully blends folk, traditional and contemporary sounds and styles.

Tramore is gearing up for a major day of music and entertainment this summer, with the return of the Tramore Summer Sessions on Saturday, July 26. The event will take place at the Sands Hotel Car Park 2:00pm to 10:30pm.

Headlining the event will be Waterford's Mad Ferritt, bringing their high-energy performance to the seaside stage, along with a special Robbie Williams Tribute act that’s sure to have the crowd singing along.

Supporting acts include local talents Cain Byrne and Jaime Cartwright, adding to the diverse musical experience.

This is a free, family-friendly event and open to all ages.

The Delines Live, September 25, Bank Lane

The much-loved Americana soul band, The Delines, return to Waterford for a highly anticipated performance! This marks their third visit to the city, following two sold-out shows – Imagine Arts Festival (2019) and Subterranean Sounds (2022).

Hailing from Portland, Oregon, The Delines were born out of cult alt-country band Richmond Fontaine.

The group is led by the acclaimed novelist and songwriter Willy Vlautin, and fronted by the velvet-smooth vocals of Amy Boone, backed by an exceptional band: Sean Oldham (drums), Cory Gray (keys/trumpet), and Freddie Trujillo (bass).

Their newly released fourth album, The Lucky and the Doom, continues their tradition of cinematic, character-driven songwriting.
