The Sunny South East Cycle, is a vibrant, community-powered cycling event starting and finishing at SETU Arena, Waterford.

This special day is in aid of Down Syndrome Ireland Waterford and South Kilkenny Branch.

Now in its third year, the Sunny South East Cycle has become a much-loved fundraising event in the region, offering three scenic cycling routes through the beautiful countryside of the South East.

The event is organised by dedicated local volunteers, many of whom are parents of children with Down syndrome.

One such organiser shared:

“The branch has been like a second home to us since our daughter Croía was born. This cycle helps ensure that other families can access the same supports and sense of community we’ve been so lucky to have.”
