What's on in Waterford: Live music, art exhibitions and Candlelight Concerts
International Recording artists Foster & Allen look forward to celebrating an amazing milestone of 50 years in the music business with a concert tour of Ireland, which will be visiting Waterford this March.
The Foster & Allen 50 Years Of Hits Concert will be packed filled with all the songs that made them famous all over the world. They will be performing all their hit singles like Bunch Of Thyme, Old Flames, Maggie, After All These Years, We Owe It All To You, I will Love You All My Life, Just For Old Times Sake, as well as medley’s of songs from their chart topping album’s and DVD’s.
They will also be performing some of their new recordings from their latest album We’ll Meet Again.

Fighting Games presents of a series of monumental paintings on canvas tarpaulin.
Employing minimal forms and graphic shapes, their work is rooted in the visual language of signs, symbols and pictograms which can be found in various systems of propaganda and control to communications and way-finding.
Their visual lexicon, consisting of grimacing faces, fist pumps, explosions, pixelated hearts and various graphic forms, populate the canvas in a highly composed and stylised manner.
Rendered in a hard edge style, reminiscent of utilitarian art movements such as Russian Constructivism and Soviet Poster Art, the work appears to directly communicate while also retaining a sense of ambiguity, allowing for interpretation and inquiry.
The use of humour and repetition creates a playful sense of absurdity, taking a wry look at various themes including a growing sense of anxiety, power structures, nationalism and identity.
One of Candlelight Classics most popular shows, Coldplay by Candlelight, features the captivating sounds of Frank McNamara on piano with the Bridgerton String Quartet.
Surrounded by the soft enchanting glow of a thousand candles, enjoy reimagined renditions of Coldplay’s most iconic hits, masterfully performed by Frank and the quartet.
The Piano is such an integral part of the Coldplay sound, particularly on the early albums and hence this concert features piano and string quartet.
