Theatre-goers in County Waterford are in for a real treat this coming Friday night, January 31.

That night Bridgeview Drama Tallow group will present their production of, 'The Weir', in Ballymacarbry Community Centre.

However, those wishing to go along should take note that there are a limited number of tickets available for what locals described as "a hugely anticipated" play.

The talented Brideview Drama Tallow group recently won second place in the All-Ireland One Act Open Finals and the forthcoming performance in the centre will come in the wake of that success.

A critically acclaimed play by Conor McPherson, it promises to be a great night of drama in a wonderful setting.

Tickets are priced €15 and can be sourced from Ballymacarbry Central School by calling 052 6136349. People can also text or WhatsApp the community centre mobile on 086 0328467.

Those making contact for tickets are asked to include their name, address and how many tickets they would like to purchase. All proceeds from this event will be going to four local causes: Brideview Drama Group, Ballymacarbry Tidy Towns, Ballymacarbry Central School and Panda Playground c/o Ballymacarbry Community Centre.
