Theatre-goers are in for a real treat in County Waterford in the coming days when one of the most popular theatre groups brings their latest production to the Déise.

Hubcap Theatre will be stopping off at the Gealach Gorm Theatre in Kill Community Centre for a performance of their hit play, Mary's Hopes & Dreams'.

The show will be staged on Saturday, June 14, and will be part of an extensive nationwide tour.

It follows on from a tour in support of the group's production of 'The Parish', which saw them visit 70 venues around the country.

'Mary’s Hopes & Dreams', is a delightful comedy about life in a rural community. The story unfolds with a cast of colourful characters including cattle dealers, greyhound trainers, 80s pop stars and the much loved, 'two Marys'.

Using Hubcap’s unique brand of visual comedy and characterisation, the audience will be entertained with madcap scenes of slapstick, rap, mime, song, dance, martial arts and swimming!

The group's previous show was a sellout and early booking is advisable for those planning on taking in the forthcoming production.
