Memorial walk and run to take place in Waterford

A memorial walk and run will take place in Waterford this month.

The Martin Halley Memorial Run and Walk 5K event will be held on Friday, September 12. 

Registration for the run will begin at 6pm at the Carbally Community Centre, Ballymacaw. 

The walkers will lead off at 7pm, followed by the runners at 7.30pm. 

The event will be followed by the presentation of the medals at the Carbally Community Centre.

There will be prizes for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd placed in the women’s, men’s and under 16’s categories. 

All participants will receive a medal for their efforts.
