March for Palestine to take place in Waterford

A march in support of the people of Palestine will take place in Waterford City this coming weekend.

The event, which is being organised by the South East branch of the Irish Palestinian Solidarity Committee, will take place at 2pm at the Bullpost in Ballybricken.

The organisers said the 'March for Palestine' event is "not just a protest; its a cry for justice".

"A call from our hearts to the world -  enough is enough," said a spokesperson for the committee.

"Join us as we march in solidarity with the people of Palestine, for the children buried in rubble, for the families starving under siege, for every voice silenced by violence," she said.

Those attending are also encouraged to bring along their flags.

"Bring your friends, bring your voice, let the world hear us," said the spokesperson.
