Lauded songwriter to appear in Waterford

Susan O'Neill will be appearing in Waterford's Theatre Royal

One of Ireland's foremost songwriters is set to appear in Waterford in the coming weeks.

Susan O'Neill, who has spent the last few years honing her craft as a solo performer, will be stopping off at the Theatre Royal on November 2, for what promises to be one of the music highlights of the year.

A songwriter of hidden depths, with a timeless voice that is equal parts balm and blowtorch, she is audacity personified, a free spirit and a real performer.

Since the release of the critically acclaimed collaboration album, 'In The Game', with Mick Flannery, O'Neill has toured extensively across Europe and North America.

In doing so she performed both with Mick and also in a solo capacity, on headline tours, festival stages and as an invited special guest to a wide array of artists including Phoebe Bridgers, Valerie June and The Teskey Brothers.

Susan will release her solo album,‘Now in a minute’, later this year and the forthcoming concert in the Theatre Royal will give music lovers a great opportunity to witness one of the country's most promising new songwriters in the perfect setting of Ireland's oldest oldest continually operating theatre.
