Girls night open mic for Waterford

The Girls Night will take place on June 28
A very special open mic night is set to take place in Waterford City over the coming days.
Electric Avenue, in Johns Street, is planning to host a 'Girls Night' event on June 28, with the fun due to kick off at 8pm.
The event is aimed at celebrating women and the abundance of creative talent that exists within Waterford City and county.
Open mic events are always good fun and they serve to highlight some of the star quality that exists within the local community.
The organisers of the forthcoming event said girls will once again be very much to the fore and the night will include "the freshest beats and vocalists that the south east has to offer".
Open mic nights are aimed at encouraging people to get out in front of an appreciative audience and by their very nature they help and encourage people who are performing.
They can be particularly beneficial to people who might not get the opportunity to perform regularly or are taking their first tentative steps into the world of performance. Submissions for the event are now being invited and those wishing to participate are asked to follow the steps on Instagram or alternatively, email the organisers through waterfordopenmic@gmail.com
