Full programme for Restival 2024 at Waterford's Mount Congreve Gardens announced
The countdown is on to the popular 2024 two-day, Restival Festival at Mount Congreve Gardens in County Waterford, which takes place on August 10 and 11.
The full programme for the event was announced to the Waterford News and Star this week.
Each day will commence with a variety of yoga and pilates classes, available across the beautiful lawns along with guided forest bathing walks through the woodlands and into the depths of the 70-acre gardens.
On both dates, Yoga and Pilates classes will begin at 7am with classes available on the hour until 2pm. There will be Qi Flow Movement with Hellen Kang at 9am, 10am and 11 am and forest bathing with Dr Mark Rowe at 10am and 1pm - on the Saturday, and 9.30am on the Sunday.
Both days will also host a series of wellness speakers. Saturday’s talks will be from 10am with Ray Sinnott, Mount Congreve’s Estate Director getting events underway, and at 11am Holistic Sleep Coach, Dr Miriam Liston will take to the stage.
Cookery writer and broadcaster Aisling Larkin will give a talk at 1pm and 'The Seaweed Gardener', Marie Power will be on stage at 2pm.
Saturday experiences will also include sound meditation with Yoga Nua at 10.30am and at 1.30pm there will be Meditation - a journey of inner peace - with Catherine O’Donohoe.
On Sunday there will be wellness talks from guest speakers including holistic coach Sandra O’Donnell at 10am, garden designer Diarmuid Gavin at 11am, forest bathing expert Dr Mark Rowe at 1pm and Katie Duggan from Wellness with Katie at 2pm.
Sunday’s experiences will also include singing in nature with Creative Sound at 10.30am and Sound Therapy with Tidal Soul Wellness at 1.30 pm.
An abundance of fresh and local produce will be on offer from Mount Congreve’s own Stables Café by The Pantry at CLIFF with Restival guests also having the opportunity to pre-book a picnic.
Tickets to Restival also include access to the ticket-only gardens and woodland walks. The gardens at Mount Congreve consist of around seventy acres of intensively planted woodland garden, including a four-acre walled garden. The woodland garden has features such as a Chinese Pagoda, ponds, a temple and much more. The entire collection of plants is one of the largest in Ireland, quite simply, the gardens are amazing.
Daily and weekend tickets to the adult-only ‘Restival’ event are now available, priced €39 per day or €57 per person, for a weekend ticket, at www.mountcongreve.com.
Ticket holders who wish to take a journey to Restival via the Waterford Greenway, will receive a free juice on arrival.
