A family fun day will take place in Waterford City this month.
The event is being organised by the Sacred Heart Family Resource Centre which is inviting families living in the Sacred Heart Area to go along to what promises to be a great family event.
It will take place on Saturday, August 23, at Williamstown Sports Complex and will be held from 12noon to 3pm.
Those attending are encouraged to bring along a picnic and get a complementary hot dog while there.
There will be plenty of fun and games and among the children's activities will be face painting, penalty shoot-outs and poc fada.
The WLR Blastercaster will be also be on-site and there will be special guests in attendance.
Children aged under 16 will have to be accompanied by a supervising adult.
