There will be a drug awareness talk taking place in County Waterford on Wednesday, September 24.

It will be held at 7.30pm in Ballyduff Community Centre, and is being hosted by Ballyduff GAA.

The drug awareness and wellbeing night will feature two guest speakers - John Leahy (HSE Drug Education Officer and All-Ireland winner) and Eddie Kendrick (Counsellor and former Tipperary Minor Footballer).

One of those involved in the event said the talk will be open to everyone over 12 years of age.

"We all need to educate ourselves on this topic and keep ourselves informed so if you can spare the time come along and support this initiative," she said.
