Disco fever to hit County Waterford and all for a good cause

It will be a case of 'disco fever' hitting the people of Waterford in the coming weeks.

However, there won't be any need to call the doctor as the 'fever' will self-inflicted and all for a good cause.

A special 80s and 90s themed party night is scheduled to take on the Sweep Bar, in Kilmeaden, on Saturday, December 6.

The event is being organised by Ballyduff juvenile club and tickets, priced €10, are now available from the Sweep or by calling 087 2486423.

As one of those involved in the event commented: "It is time to take out those leg warmers and shoulder pads and get yourself along to a special 80’s and 90’s party night".

It promises to be a great night out and and there will be a spot prizes on the night for the best costumes. 

As one local commented: "You can strut your stuff on the dancefloor and show off those signature moves."
