Cry Before Dawn set for Waterford launch

Cry Before Dawn will be performing in Electric Avenue on August 7

Rock veterans, Cry Before Dawn, will be visiting Waterford on August 7, to officially launch their new EP.

The gig will take place in Electric Avenue.

The Wexford rockers have always had a great following in Waterford, going all the way back to their early days and great gigs in the 1980s.

Their Déise following was evidenced earlier this year with a fantastic sold out show at Bank Lane in the city.

The band has been back in the studio lately recording new music as they prepare for their first vinyl release in over 35 years.

The new EP, 'Open Water', will be released on Friday, August 1, and it's possible another Number 1 new entry is on the cards.

To celebrate the release the band is playing EP launch gigs all over the country, with the final date being the Electric Avenue gig on Thursday, August 7.

The band will play new songs, old classics and maybe tell a few stories from the old touring and recording days.
