Celebrating 25 years of Waterford Treasures

Waterford Treasures will celebrate its 25th anniversary with a Viking themed event on July 4
It is 25 years since Waterford Treasures first opened its doors in the Viking Triangle.
Brought to life by the visionary Eamon McEneaney, the Waterford Treasures Museum collection now encompasses an impressive array of attractions, including The Bishop’s Palace, the Medieval Museum, the Irish Silver Museum, the Irish Museum of Time, the Irish Wake Museum, and the Epic Walking Tour. Visitors can also experience the King of the Vikings Virtual Reality Adventure and explore Reginald’s Tower.
To celebrate the quarter century of work, Waterford Treasures have announced a Viking Celebration event, where guests will be given the opportunity to immerse themselves in all things Viking with a range of activities in the Medieval Museum.
Step into the dark and atmospheric wine vault to meet a Viking seer, the priestess of Lytir, and indulge in authentic Viking foods and drinks in the Choristers’ Hall, while enjoying Viking storytelling, object handling and more.
The event takes place on Thursday, July 4, from 6pm to 9pm at the Medieval Museum. Tickets are €35 per person, which includes two drinks. This is an adults only event, with more information available at waterfordtreasures.com
