The 'Nights on Broadway - The Bee Gees Story' is as close to the real thing as it gets.

Music fans will in Waterford are in a for real treat this month when, 'Nights On Broadway - the Bee Gees Story', comes to the Theatre Royal on October 19.

The Bee Gees’ music is still going strong 65 years after the band was formed by Maurice, Barry and Robin Gibb, in 1958. 

While music fans might not be able to witness the read band in action anymore the 'Nights on Broadway' live concert experience is a fabulous production that tells the fascinating story of the Bee Gees and their place in music history.

In many ways it's as close as it gets to seeing the real thing.

Those attending the show can look foward to hearing hit after hit from over four decades of incredible music created by three of the most celebrated songwriters and performers of all-time. 

The show features seven top-class Irish and UK musicians and is a fully live production; this is as real as it gets in terms of recreating the live sound of the Bee Gees in their prime.

Award-winning comedian and writer, Brendan O'Carroll said of the show: "From the musicianship to the vocal harmonies, these guys sound so like the Bee Gees it’s scary."

International artist and three-time Eurovision winner, Johnny Logan, described the show as "superb" and said the band had "the vocals down to a fine art".

Known also as ‘The Irish Bee Gees’, six of the performers are from Ireland, with the seventh member, the band’s Musical Director, hailing from the UK. 

Individually, they have performed, recorded and guested alongside some music greats including The Rolling Stones’ Ron Wood, Jerry Lee Lewis, Van Morrison, Thin Lizzy, The Dubliners and Don Baker. 

Since its inception some years back the show has been selling out theatres and hotel venues all over Ireland and has also toured in the UK, Germany and the Netherlands.

The show presents a tribute to the Bee Gees through their catalogue of hits over four decades from the 60s to the 90s. 

The fully-live band blends the classic hits, acoustic medleys and killer disco tunes which define the unmistakable and versatile sound of the Bee Gees.
