Waterford FC will go in search of their first FAI Cup Final success since 1980 when they take on Cobh Ramblers at home in the Club Orange Men's FAI Cup second round after the draw was made at FAI Headquarters this afternoon (Wednesday).
Graham Coughlan's side sit at the bottom of the SSE Airtricity Men's Premier Division with just one win this season, and they will have a mountain to climb when the league resumes on June 12 as they take on ninth-place Sligo Rovers.
But they will then turn their attentions to the FAI Cup where the Men's First Division side will make the short journey to the RSC for the cup meeting, which will take place in Waterford on the weekending of July 19.
It's a repeat of the 2025 Cup final in the second round as Shamrock Rovers face Cork City.
