Precautionary pitch inspection called ahead of Waterford FC v Drogheda United

The League of Ireland has confirmed that a pitch inspection will take place at the RSC ahead of tonight's SSE Airtricity Men's Premier Division clash between Waterford FC and Drogheda United at noon (today).
This follows heavy rainfall in Waterford with the road outside the venue flooded last night, but Waterford City and County council workers have cleared a lot of the surface water from the area.
It's understood that club officials are confident that the game will get the green light.
