A late equaliser by Bari Camberg earned Dungarvan United a point after this top of the table WSFL Under 14A clash at Graun Park on Saturday last. It was Tramore who looked certain to take all three points as they held the lead into the closing stages, but up popped Bari Camberg with a late strike to give his side a share of the points.
Tramore will be kicking themselves for dropping two points after holding the upper hand for much of the game, but too many missed chances allowed Dungarvan to stay in the game and then grab a late equaliser.
Tramore opened up on the attack, and after three minutes, Dungarvan goalkeeper Ruairidh O’Huallachain was called into action. Tramore winger James Cullinane played a wonderful pass into the run of Louis Daly; his shot was on target, but the keeper was well placed to save.
James Cullinane was Tramore’s main threat at this stage, and minutes later he pulled the ball back from the end line for Louis McDonald, but the big striker saw his left-footed effort was well saved by the Dungarvan keeper.
It came as no surprise when Tramore took the lead on 17 minutes. Louis McDonald got away down the left, and he crossed to Louis Daly just inside the box, and the big striker hammered a low right-foot strike beyond the diving O’Huallachain.
The home team continued to attack, and Dungarvan hit them with a sucker punch on 26 minutes, following a corner kick taken by Corey Flynn. The ball broke to Harry Tutty, and he drove a first-time right-foot volley into the roof of the net.

Tramore once again took up the running as the second period got underway. A left-wing cross by Harry Stubbs was picked up by Theo Stamper, but the defender fired his effort just over the crossbar.
Minutes later, clever play from Jay Lyons set up overlapping full-back Harry Dalton, but his right-footed strike flew just over the top. After 52 minutes, Tramore striker Louis McDonald got behind the Dungarvan defence and looked certain to score, but Harry Tutty recovered to make a goalsaving tackle.
On the hour mark, Tramore had another great chance to regain the lead. Jay Lyons worked his way along the end line and then switched the ball onto his right foot, but Dungarvan keeper Ruairidh O’Huallachain was well placed at his near post to save. With time running out, Tramore found what seemed to be the winning goal. Austin Flavin played the ball up to striker Louis McDonald, who raced clear of the visitors' defence before lobbing the ball over the head of the advancing Dungarvan keeper.
With the referee looking at his watch, Dungarvan scored a late equaliser. Corey Flynn pulled a cross to the edge of the box, Bari Camberg picked up the ball and side-footed a right-foot strike into the top corner of the net.
