Quiet week on the cards de Bromhead

Henry de Bromhead is without a winner since New Year's Eve and looks to have a quiet week on the cards this week as the trainer has just three runners set for action.
Two of them could come at Dundalk on Friday on the Flat all-weather surface, with just one Jumps runner entered at Fairyhouse on Saturday over obstacles for the trainer.
Both Siouxpercharged and Quatrain are entered in a maiden contest at Dundalk on Friday at 7.30pm, which will be shown live on Racing TV, who will be offering the latest Cheltenham free bets at the Festival in March.
Siouxpercharged, a four-year-old, has had just one run in his career so far for De Bromhead and that came at Dundalk back in December, where the Sioux Nation gelding was a disappointing 12th of 14 runners after a slow start out of the traps which jockey Billy Lee couldn't recover from.
In the same race on Friday, Quatrain could take to the all-weather surface for De Bromhead and represents a much better chance of the trainer picking up a long-awaited victory. Another four-year-old, Quatrain was a good third at Dundalk last time out on November 29, beaten by only a length and that was a second third-placed finish on the spin for the horse, who finished in that spot at Dundalk three weeks prior.
Over the Jumps, De Bromhead could send just the one runner to Fairyhouse on Saturday with Lets Go Champ entered in the Grade 3 two-mile and one furlong handicap steeplechase at 1.44pm. Lets Go Champ was last seen when finishing a six-length third behind Il Ridoto in the Gold Cup Handicap Chase at Cheltenham's November meeting, losing second on the run-in to the Gavin Sheehan-trained Ga Law. Lets Go Champ was a Grade 3 winner last season when landing the spoils at Punchestown in May 2024 and if he can produce similar form to his Cheltenham run last time, could be bang in with a chance at Fairyhouse this weekend.
