Waterford Camogie have confirmed that Michael Boland's first game in charge of the county has been fixed by Munster Camogie for Sunday, April 27, at 1pm in the Tipperary Camogie grounds, a mere hour before the Munster Senior hurling championship opener with Clare at Walsh Park, which gets underway at 2pm.

It's incredible that the fixture between the two counties in the Munster semi-final couldn't be played on Saturday instead supporters are been asked to choose between the Camogie and Senior hurling encounter.

The throw-in time also ensures that the hurling contest will be already started before the Camogie game is over, which doesn't allow for supporters to take comfort of television coverage.

It will also impact Tipperary supporters of both codes as the Premier county will take on Cork in their second game of the Munster round robin series at SuperValu Pairc Ui Chaoimh with a 4pm throw-in.  This is nothing but a crazy situation for the two counties involved, but even a more stranger decision from the Munster Camogie Association in the first place.
