Peter Queally has named his first team as Waterford manager for the short trip up the M9 to Carlow for Sunday afternoon’s Allianz Hurling League game, in Netwatch Cullen Park at 2pm.
While Waterford were idle last weekend, Carlow opened their Division 1B campaign with a draw against Offaly and Queally won’t be taking anything for granted ahead of what has the potential to be a tricky tie.
With new captain Dessie Hutchinson ruled out until the end of February through injury, Mark Fitzgerald will lead the team.
