Works stalled on Tramore social housing apartments
Strand Hill development, Tramore.
Construction has come to a standstill at the Strand Hill apartment blocks, according to a local Councillor.
At a recent meeting, Councillor Blaise Hannigan said that works had stopped at the development a few weeks ago.
He stated: "On the Strand Hill apartment block, work has stopped for over the last several weeks. Is there any objection to the building in the area?"
He added: "This apartment block, I believe, is for social housing, so it's important that we have that in Tramore. It would be appropriate to find out why work has stopped there."
Senior Executive Planner Hazel O'Shea said that she would send the query on to the Housing Department.
