Woman arrested in garda operation into retail crime in Waterford town
Waterford gardaí posted on social media that a woman has been arrested as part of Operation Táirge.
A woman has been arrested and charged with shoplifting from various businesses throughout Dungarvan town.
Waterford gardaí posted on social media that the arrest was made as part of Operation Táirge, a garda campaign targeting organised retail crime, and that some items were recovered.
“As part of Operation Táirge, gardaí in Dungarvan Garda Station arrested a female on suspicion of shoplifting in various business throughout Dungarvan Town yesterday; some items were recovered.
"The accused has been charged with these offences and will appear before the courts in the coming weeks,” said An Garda Siochana.
