Woman allegedly stole over €600 worth of goods from Waterford store

A woman accused of stealing over €600 worth of goods from TK Maxx in Poleberry, Waterford, has been sent forward for trial.

Kathleen Flynn (36), of 22 Mount Sion Avenue, Waterford, was before Judge John Cheatle at Waterford District Court charged with two counts of theft.

It is alleged that on April 20, 2026, Ms Flynn stole €441.01 worth of goods from TK Maxx in Poleberry and on May 4, 2026, she is accused of stealing €160.90 worth of clothing from the same store.

Sergeant Michael Hickey confirmed for the court that the book of evidence had been served and the DPP had consented to trial on indictment on June 17, 2026.

Judge Cheatle issued the alibi warning to the defendant and sent her forward for trial to the current sitting of Waterford Circuit Court.
