The Presidential election will take place in October
Waterford City and County Council is to hold a special meeting for Presidential election nominees.
A spokesperson for the local authority said Waterford Council will hold a special meeting for Presidential election nominees at the Civic Offices in Dungarvan at 2pm on Friday, September 19.
Those wishing to seek nomination from Waterford City and County Council and to present at the special meeting should contact hdunphy@waterfordcouncil.ie no later than 5pm on Friday, September 12.
Requests received after that deadline will not be considered.
The Presidential election will take place on Friday, October 24.
