Wedding bliss as Waterford couple arrive home from 'Down Under' to tie the knot

Paul Power and Siobhan Stafford travelled home to Portlaw from Oz to get married.

There were scenes of great excitement and happiness in on County Waterford village recently when a very popular local couple arrived home from Australia to get married.

Paul Power and Siobhán Stafford tied the knot in Portlaw on Thursday, June 11. 

Residing in Australia for the last number of years, where they have made a great life for themselves with their beautiful daughters Caoimhe and Emily, the happy couple delighted family and friends when they arrived home.

As one local commented: "It was great to have them home to celebrate this day with their friends and family."

Paul won countless honours with Portlaw GAA club over the years and is widely regarded as one the finest hurlers and footballers to wear the blue and gold of the club. 

Best wishes were conveyed to the happy couple on their big day and for their future.
