A weather warning will come into effect for Waterford from midday today, Sunday, March 1.
The warning, issued by Waterford City & County Council on behalf of Met Éireann is a moderate warning for rain.
It's expected there will be some heavy spells of rainfall which could lead to localised flooding, poor visibility and hazardous travelling conditions.
The status yellow level warning will be in place throughout the entire day from 12 noon until midnight.
