Weather warning issued for Waterford as temperatures set to drop this weekend

A status yellow weather warning will come into effect in Waterford from 6pm on Saturday.
The warning is for cold, with Met Éireann expecting temperatures to fall between -2 and -4 degrees as well as “sharp or severe frost and icy stretches”.
Dangerous travel conditions are also expected.
The warning is in place until 11am on Sunday, January 4, and will also affect the rest of Munster, Carlow, Dublin, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Longford, Meath, Offaly, Westmeath, Wexford and Wicklow.
