Weather warning issued for County Waterford with hail possible

Met Éireann has issued a thunderstorm weather warning for County Waterford.
The moderate level warning was issued at around 2pm, and gave notification of scattered thunderstorms today (Saturday, June 7) with the chance of hail.
With regard to possible impacts, Met Eireann said there could be spot flooding and lightning damage.
The event carries a yellow level status and will be valid throughout this afternoon until 6pm.
In addition to Waterford the warning, which was issued by Waterford City & County Council through a Met Éireann weather alert link also related to County Wexford.
