Waterford's 'Big Swap' is on today
The event is taking place in Ardkeen Library
Waterford's Youth Climate Council (Waterford YACC), 'Big Swap', is on today, Saturday, February 15, in Ardkeen Library.
The event will take place between 11am and 1pm.
The event will present the ideal way to get rid of unwanted presents or other items around the house. Have you under loved Christmas presents? Maybe there's something that's not quite to your style.
If so, give someone else the opportunity to avail of it and get use out of it. As the organisers commented: "Bring one, take one".
Those visiting the event will be encouraged to drop off items but also pick up something that takes their fancy.
Items that are expected to be available will include toys, books, gift sets, games, candles, instruments, sports equipment and more.
"Come in and take something, even if you can't give," said one of the organisers.
