Waterford woman stands out in style at Galway races

A woman from Waterford was announced as a finalist in the prestigious, 'Friday's Most Stylish' competition at the Galway Races.
Louisa Murphy, from Tramore, was chosen as one of five finalists in the competition which was sponsored by by Athlone Towncentre. A spokesperson for the organisers said Louisa's style was both elegant and fresh.
She wore a white and black embroidered dress from Janelle’s Boutique in Waterford and a blacked wired headpiece made by Millinery by Mel. Louisa chose her look for the day from her own outfit rental business, Saint Style Society. Complementing her monochrome theme Louisa wore black stiletto heels from Zara, a black and gold chain bag from Penney's with black and white Prada sunglasses finishing her look for Friday evening racing.

Clodagh Cosgrove from Athlone, Co. Westmeath was announced as the winner of ‘Friday’s Most Stylish’.
She wore a purple and orange dipped hem midi dress by Mannit which she bought in Spain and had previously been worn to a wedding.
"Clodagh elevated her look with shoes and jewellery from Zara as well as a handbag she bought from Depop," said the spokesperson.
"She completed her race going outfit with a purple tilted hat which arrived that morning, which she purchased from Depop also," she added.
The easy elegance of ‘Friday’s Most Stylish’ has proven to be one of the biggest gatherings of race going fashion lovers to date at the festival.
Celebrity Judge Kayleigh Trappe, comedian and presenter, Head Judge Marietta Doran, fashion stylist and Racing Style presenter, were joined by Shirley Delahunt, Manager of Athlone Towncentre. With the competition in its 13th year, the spotlight is on fashion forward style.
