Waterford Volunteer Centre will officially launch its new booklet in Garter Lane Theatre
Waterford Volunteer Centre is to officially launch a new booklet this week based around real-life stories that inspire.
The new booklet, 'Volunteers from Waterford: Stories That Inspire', will be officially launched in Garter Lane Theatre, in Waterford, at 11am on Thursday, May 21.
Taking place during National Volunteering Week, the event will be aimed at celebrating volunteers from across Waterford.
The booklet is a collection of personal stories reflecting the breadth and impact of volunteering in the county.
The launch will include short addresses from Chairperson John Hawkes, Centre Manager Réka Széplaki, and booklet editor, Anna Kachanivska.
There will also be contributions from some of the volunteers featured in the publication.
The launch will be followed by refreshments and informal networking.
