Waterford to be well represented at Bloom

Bord Bia Bloom has announced that two exhibitors from Waterford will be part of this year's line-up of exhibitors and attractions.
Show Garden designer, Cornelia Raftery, Shady Plants Nursery, from Clashmore and Coffee House Lane, from Waterford City, will join the line-up for the annual, prestigious showcase festival of flowers, food and fun in the Phoenix Park, Dublin.
A spokesperson for the organisers told waterford-news.ie that it's expected over 100,000 visitors will attend the event which will be located on a 70-acre site. This year's event will also play host to 21 spectacular new show gardens, at the centre of the experience.
Shady Plants, based in Clashmore, is a family run award-winning nursery specialising in ferns, hostas and shade-loving plant species and it will be exhibiting its breathtaking plants in the Nursery Village.

In addition, popular features will return along with some exciting new demonstrations, panel discussions, talks and performances including The Plant Emporium, live demonstrations and interactive workshops including floral crown making, in the new Botanical Hub, and exhibitions of botanical and floral art and AOIFA’s (Association of Irish Floral Artists) Floral Art Competition.
Another Waterford representative at the event will be artisan coffee roaster, Coffee House Lane, which will be part of the overall dining experience at the event.
Over 100 of Ireland's top food and craft drink producers will be represented on site and attendees will also be able to enjoy delicious food from plenty of food trucks, the BBQ Bliss area or Bloom’s four on-site restaurants: The Garden View Restaurant, Bistro Bloom, Country Crest Restaurant and The Seafood Terrace.
New for this year will be ‘A Taste of Bloom, curated by Neven Maguire, it will be a three-course dining experience celebrating quality Irish produce designed exclusively by the celebrity chef for Bloom.
