Waterford students showcase their culinary expertise

The Transition Year French students in one County Waterford secondary school showcased their culinary expertise in an exemplary way recenty.

The TY French students in St Declan's Community College oraganised and ran a delicious 'vente de gâteaux' (bake sale) just before the end of term and raised €90 for Doras.

The event was organsied as part of the Yellow Flag Programme under the theme of anti-racism and equality.

The students also completed a stunning French mural celebrating the same values — égalité, respect, et solidarité. 

A spokesperson for the school commented: "Bravo tout le monde."
