Waterford students enjoy trip to Manchester

Students in one County Waterford school got to experience world-class soccer recently when they made the trip over to Manchester.

The students, from St Declan's Community College, set off on the trip in the early hours of the morning.

A spokesperson for the school said the students really enjoyed the trip, describing it as "another fantastic trip to where we saw five goals and a laser show, did some shopping and had some great chats along the way".

Gratitude was expressed to the staff members who helped organise the trip and make it happen including Mr. O'Neill, Mr. Kirwan, Ms. Sexton and Mr. Collins.

The students were also praised for being "polite and mannerly" throughout the trip.
