Waterford student needs public support in major singing competition

Chloe Weldon is entered in a major singing competition.

A secondary school student in County Waterford is taking part in a major singing competition and the people of the Déise can help her along the way.

Chloe Weldon, who is a Third Year students in St Declan's Community College, is taking part in a singing competition  run by the Ivory Sessions.

The competition goes live today, Monday, February 16, and will remain live until Friday, February 20.

To secure a place in the final Chloe needs to get as many views as possible on her YouTube audition video.

A spokesperson for the school said: "You may remember Chloe from our Christmas concerts the last few years, she has a fantastic voice."
