Waterford Lions Club helds its annual special schools outing in Tramore recently and it was thoroughly enjoyed by the participating pupils.

The event took place on Tuesday, May 12, and involved students from St Joseph's and St Martin's special schools who travelled to Tramore for a day out.

The children arrived and spent time at the amusement park, and then went to O’Shea’s Hotel for lunch and a disco.

"A thoroughly enjoyable day was had by all," said one of those in attendance.

Waterford Lions Club expressed gratitude and appreciation to everyone who made the day possible including Chris Piper and Michael Garland, of Tramore Amusement Park, the management and staff of O’Shea’s Hotel, Curran Foods, and DJ Damien Walsh.
