Waterford parish to celebrate Jubilee of Hope with pilgrimage walk

As part of the Jubilee of Hope, the Parish Pastoral Council is organising a Parish Pilgrimage Walk to Holy Trinity Cathedral in Waterford City. 

This will take place on Saturday, September 13, 2025.

As the roads from any of our churches to the city are not the safest for such a venture, those participating will gather at St Mary’s Church, Ballygunner, at 9:30am and walk from there to the cathedral, arriving for Mass at 12pm.

Those not walking can join us at the cathedral for the Mass. After Mass, participants are free to make their own way back to Ballygunner and home, or to go to the Pastoral Centre at St Joseph and St Benildus Church for refreshments. 

All ages are welcome to attend, but those under 18 should be accompanied by a parent or grandparent.

All those intending to participate are asked to register by September 5 by giving their name at the sacristy or by emailing kcfparish@gmail.com.
